Trump unlikely to lift metals tariffs until Democrats approve new NAFTA: MAAW Law
Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland is heading to Washington to press her case for the removal of U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods. Mark Warner, principal at MAAW Law, says with the way Trump uses leverage in a negotiation, it's unlikely he will budge on the metal tariffs until he's sure that the Democrats will call NAFTA 2.0 to a vote.
