There is a risk the reaccelleration of the U.S. economy will filter into inflation
James Bullard, former president of the St. Louis Fed., and Mitchell E. Daniels, dean of Jr. School of Business at Purdue University, says the FOMC has to remain vigilant to get back to 2 per cent inflation. He adds if there is more strong economic data, Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue to say the next rate move will be up.
