Investors are looking further down the income statement of IPO-ready companies: PwC’s David Ethridge
David Ethridge, U.S. IPO Services co-leader at PwC, joins BNN Bloomberg that private capital is more aware of public valuations, and investors want to see a path to profitability in 3-4 quarters rather than in a few years. He says the IPO market, which has dropped steeply this year, is not closed, but companies that have options may choose not to go into this market. Ethridge says companies in the energy, semiconductor and financial sectors are likely to perform better in today’s IPO market.
