Mark Kenney, CEO of CAPREIT, tells BNN Bloomberg that all builders are fighting for the same finite amount of land as they are only allowed to develop land with municipal services. He says Canada needs to change its thinking and allow the private sector to build municipal services like in the US. On rents, he says they are back to where they were three years ago. Discussing Q3 results, Kenney says the company faces pressures on wages, utilities and property taxes.
