Hong Kong Adviser Chan on New Leader Lee, Covid Fight
Bernard Chan, a financier and convener of Hong Kong Chief Executive's advisory Executive Council, discusses what to expect from John Lee, the city's new leader, and the government's efforts in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. Lee, named the next chief executive in a rubber-stamp election after Beijing asserted greater control over the financial hub, vowed to strengthen national security and accelerate the city's integration with mainland China.
