Fitch Ratings has downgrade Canada's long-term credit from AAA to AA+. David Rosenberg, chief economist and strategist at Rosenberg Research and Associates, says the move should not come as a big surprise. In fact, he wonders why Canada had a triple A rating to begin with. And Rosenberg expects others to follow the move by Fitch, saying there will be a series of downgrades ahead.
