Canada to possibly trim retaliation product list to prevent further U.S. tariffs: Trade lawyer Mark Warner
Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is expected to release the federal government’s $3.6-billion retaliation against U.S. tariffs on Canadian aluminum. Back on August 6th, Freeland tabled a list of products that could be targeted, including washing machines, bicycles and golf clubs. Mark Warner, principal at MAAW Law weighs in on the whole situation. He says that we could see a pared-down list of product targets to prevent further U.S. tariffs.
