John Ruffolo, founder and managing partner at Maverix Private Equity and Former CEO of Omers Ventures, joins BNN Bloomberg for his 2023 tech outlook. Ruffolo notes there will be many challenges ahead for the sector, including more volatility. He adds that from 2019 to 2021, markets were out of control 'what happened then was an anomaly'. He also discusses M&A in the tech sector. Ruffolo says there will be a number of companies taken private as they should have never gone public.
