Don't sell bank stocks because of rising interest rates: Portfolio manager
With interest rates moving higher there's been growing concern over the impact that could have on Canadians with high mortgage debt. Banks stocks have been hit hard over the past month but Brian Madden, senior vice-president and portfolio manager at Goodreid Investment Counsel, says dumping those stocks is a bad move. He says mortgages would be the last thing that Canadians would default on.
