Harry Broadman, chair of the Emerging Markets Practice at Berkeley Research Group and a Johns Hopkins University faculty member, joins BNN Bloomberg to weigh in on the United States' push to lift patent protection on COVID-19 vaccines. He says that he is perplexed by the real intent here on the part of the White House. Broadman is also a former White House trade official who helped negotiate the WTO's creation.
