(Bloomberg) -- HSBC Holdings Plc. has named Jil Chin as the new head of international wealth hub for Singapore, the Business Times reported Tuesday, citing a statement from the bank.

Chin was most recently at Citigroup Inc. in Singapore as banking director for wealth management for Citigold and Citigold Private Client, the local newspaper reported. In HSBC Singapore, she will report to its head of international wealth and premier banking Ashmita Acharya.

The appointment comes as HSBC seeks to boost its international wealth business in Singapore with the planned opening of three wealth centers by the first quarter of 2025. The bank also plans to increase client-facing roles by more than a third by 2028.
