(Bloomberg) -- A federal judge ordered luxury real estate broker Tal Alexander and his brother Alon to be transported to New York from Florida to face sex-trafficking charges.

US District Judge Valerie Caproni on Tuesday denied Tal and Alon’s request to remain in federal custody in Florida while they make a fresh push to be released on bail. Tal, 38, Alon and a third brother Oren, both 37, were arrested in Miami last month after being charged by Manhattan federal prosecutors with a yearslong scheme to “drug, sexually assault and rape dozens of victims.”

Caproni, who scheduled a consolidated bail hearing for all three in Manhattan on Jan. 15, said Tal and Alon have already had weeks to prepare their bail applications and that their efforts wouldn’t be affected by removal to New York.

The brothers have previously been denied bail as flight risks, but they have said they are willing to post a bond of “any amount,” secured by all of the assets of their family to avoid being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, the federal lockup for New York. A judge in Florida last month rejected Tal’s proposal of a $115 million bond.

Oren and Tal were leading luxury real estate agents in cities including New York and Miami, working with an extensive roster of ultra-wealthy and celebrity clients. Prosecutors accuse them of using their wealth and positions to lure women to locations and into situations where they could be assaulted.

The brothers often worked with party promoters to “ensure that there were a sufficient number of women present” at their events and also procured drugs, including cocaine, mushrooms and GHB, which was often slipped into women’s drinks, according to the indictment. They also allegedly drugged and assaulted women they encountered in bars and nightclubs or met  on dating apps.
