(Bloomberg) -- Some New Jersey Transit trains are experiencing delays just ahead of rush hour commutes on Wednesday due to a signal issue near the Newark Draw Bridge.
Riders utilizing the Morris and Essex, Gladstone Branch and Montclair-Boonton lines are all subjected to as much as hour-long delays coming in and out of New York Penn Station. Several trains have been canceled.
Customers are being encouraged to take alternate service options to get to their destination, including the bus and other unaffected rail lines, according to a statement from NJ Transit.
