Alan Blinder, Princeton economics professor and former vice-chairman of the Federal Reserve, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss the latest moves from the U.S. Fed which included projecting two rate hikes in 2023. Blinder notes that despite the risk of inflation, it is still better to support the system with liquidity, rather than pulling the plug too quickly.
